AN ACT CONCERNING NOTICE FOR CANCELLATIONS OR ISSUANCE OF INSURANCE POLICIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit insurers from cancelling an insurance policy without notifying the insured or delivering or issuing for delivery an insurance policy for an individual without the express consent of such individual.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit insurers from cancelling an insurance policy without notifying the insured or delivering or issuing for delivery an insurance policy for an individual without the express consent of such individual.
