AN ACT CONCERNING THE HIRING OF CONNECTICUT WORKERS FOR MAJOR PROJECTS FUNDED BY BONDS OF THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require contractors awarded major projects funded by bonds of the state to give hiring preference to Connecticut workers and to provide such workers a livable wage.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve the hiring of Connecticut workers on major projects funded by bonds of the state.
