AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY TICK-BORNE ILLNESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That a task force be established to study tick-borne illnesses and make recommendations to (1) decrease the number of ticks carrying tick-borne illnesses, and (2) develop a state-wide program to educate members of the public about tick-borne illnesses.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the number of ticks that cause illness and provide awareness and education to the public concerning tick-borne illnesses that will lead to prevention and better treatment.
