AN ACT REDUCING OR ELIMINATING CERTAIN GRANTS UNDER THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to reduce by twenty-five per cent any grant awarded from the Citizens' Election Fund to a candidate committee, except that in the case of a candidate committee for a candidate that is unopposed any such grant shall be eliminated.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate grants under the Citizens' Election Program to candidate committees of unopposed candidates and reduce all other grants under said program by twenty-five per cent.
