AN ACT PHASING OUT CERTAIN TAXES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to phase out, over a five-year period, the personal income tax on Social Security benefits and pensions, the estate tax and the gift tax.
Statement of Purpose:
To make Connecticut more competitive with other states by phasing out certain taxes over a five-year period.
