AN ACT CONCERNING THE CASTING OF PROVISIONAL BALLOTS IN THE ABSENCE OF PHOTO IDENTIFICATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 146 and 147 of the general statutes be amended to provide that an elector's ballot shall be treated as a provisional ballot when such elector, upon entry of the polling place for purposes of casting such ballot, fails to produce photo identification but instead signs an affidavit attesting to such elector's identity.
