AN ACT CONCERNING A REPEAL OF THE SURCHARGE ON CORPORATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 12-214 and 12-219 of the general statutes be amended to repeal the ten per cent surcharge on companies subject to the corporation business tax.

Statement of Purpose:

To repeal the surcharge on corporations, in order to eliminate an impediment to job creation.
