AN ACT PERMITTING BOARDS OF EDUCATION TO ESTABLISH THE TOTAL NUMBER OF CREDITS NECESSARY FOR GRADUATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-221a of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to establish the total number of credits necessary for graduation from high school, provided such total number of credits is not less than twenty and not greater than twenty-five.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide school districts flexibility as it relates to the high school graduation requirements.
