AN ACT RESTORING FUNDING FOR THE PLATFORM TO EMPLOYMENT TRAINING PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sufficient funds be appropriated to the Labor Department, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, to allow the department to restore reduced funding for the Platform to Employment training program.

Statement of Purpose:

To restore funding for the Platform to Employment training program, which has successfully retrained older and technologically displaced Connecticut workers for new careers.
