AN ACT CONCERNING PARENTAL OPT OUT OF STATE-WIDE EXAMINATIONS FOR STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-14n of the general statutes be amended to allow the parent or guardian of a student to opt their child out of taking the mastery examination.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the parent or guardian of a student to opt their child out of taking the Smarter Balanced Assessment.
