AN ACT ESTABLISHING MAXIMUM LEASH LENGTHS AND A REGISTRY OF DOGS THAT HAVE ATTACKED PERSONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide that the maximum leash length for dogs is six feet and to establish a registry of dogs that have bitten an individual.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish the length of leashes for dogs and a registry of dogs that have bitten persons.
