AN ACT CONCERNING VETERAN HOMEOWNERS AND REAL PROPERTY TAXES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to permit a municipality to provide a reimbursement to veteran homeowners of fifty per cent of any such veteran's real property taxes, provided such veteran was honorably discharged from active service in the armed forces.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to offer real property tax relief to certain veteran homeowners.
