AN ACT CONCERNING FISCAL REFORMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2010) The legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis shall review the operation, administration and management of the programs and services administered or provided by state agencies in order to evaluate the cost effectiveness of such programs and services. Said office shall submit recommendation to increase cost effectiveness to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies not later than January 1, 2011, and annually thereafter.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||

Statement of Purpose:
To require the Office of Fiscal Analysis to recommend fiscal efficiencies for state agencies to the General Assembly.
