AN ACT CONCERNING AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR ADULTS WITH AUTISM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17a-215c of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Developmental Services to develop and implement an internship program for adults with autism, and that chapter 208 of the general statutes be amended to allow a business a tax credit of not more than two hundred dollars for every autistic adult engaged as an intern at said business.
Statement of Purpose:
To develop and implement an internship program for adults with autism and allow a tax credit for businesses that utilize such program.
