AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS FROM STATE LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-77 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from state licensure requirements cooperative drop-in programs run by parents who host children's play groups provided one or more of the children's parents are on the premises.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a less burdensome regulatory climate for children's enrichment programs.
