AN ACT CONCERNING PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOLS AND LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TAX CREDIT FOR PARTICIPATING IN SUCH PARTNERSHIPS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to permit local businesses to establish partnerships with technical high schools for the purpose of creating mentorship programs and donating equipment and supplies to such technical high schools. It is further proposed that the general statutes be amended to provide a tax credit to such businesses that establish such partnerships.

Statement of Purpose:

To foster partnerships between technical high schools and the business community.
