AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO ANALYZE STATE EDUCATION FUNDING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish a task force to analyze existing education funding formulas and grant programs and make recommendations regarding the development of new education funding formulas and grant programs on or before January 1, 2018.

Statement of Purpose:

To analyze and propose changes to state education funding formulas and grant programs.
