AN ACT REDUCING THE SALARIES OF LEGISLATORS, COMMISSIONERS OF STATE AGENCIES AND THE GOVERNOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to reduce the salaries of legislators and commissioners of state agencies by five per cent for the first half of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, and by an additional five per cent for the second half of said fiscal year, and to reduce the salary of the Governor by seven and one-half per cent for the first half of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, and by an additional seven and one-half per cent for the second half of said fiscal year.

Statement of Purpose:

To reduce the pay of legislators, commissioners and the Governor.
