AN ACT CONCERNING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF BEST PRACTICES BY STATE AGENCIES TO ACHIEVE COST SAVINGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Office of Policy and Management to conduct a review of state agency practices and submit a report to the General Assembly identifying any waste or inefficiencies in such agencies and recommending best practices to be implemented to achieve cost savings.
Statement of Purpose:
To review ways in which state agencies may implement best practices and cost savings.
