AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DUAL LANGUAGE IMMERSION PRESCHOOL PROGRAM MAGNET SCHOOL IN WALLINGFORD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of sections 10-264h and 10-264l of the general statutes, the town of Wallingford shall be eligible for reimbursement for eighty per cent of the eligible cost of any capital expenditure for the construction of a new interdistrict magnet school facility to be used as dual language immersion preschool program available for the children of Wallingford, Hamden and Meriden, and that the town of Wallingford may accept donations from private sources to cover the cost of the remaining twenty per cent of the cost of such school.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish and construct a dual language immersion preschool program interdistrict magnet school in Wallingford.
