AN ACT EXEMPTING THE OAKDALE THEATRE FROM THE ADMISSIONS TAX.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-541 of the general statutes be amended to provide an exemption from the admissions tax on the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford.

Statement of Purpose:

To place all Connecticut theatres on an equitable basis with regard to taxation by providing an exemption from the admissions tax on the Oakdale Theatre.
