AN ACT REQUIRING THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO VOTE ON COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS AND AGREEMENTS AND STIPULATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH A LAWSUIT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 5-278 and 3-125a of the general statutes be amended to require each chamber of the General Assembly to vote to approve or reject collective bargaining agreements with state employee organizations and agreements and stipulated agreements in connection with a lawsuit.

Statement of Purpose:

To require a vote by each chamber of the General Assembly on all state employee collective bargaining agreements and all agreements and stipulations in connection with a lawsuit.
