AN ACT CONCERNING THE REVENUE RAISED FROM PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FARES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that any revenue raised from fares paid by public transportation users be dedicated to the Special Transportation Fund and used exclusively for transportation purposes.
Statement of Purpose:
To require public transportation fares to be deposited into a Special Transportation Fund "lockbox".
