AN ACT REQUIRING LANDLORDS TO MAINTAIN LOCKS ON TENANTS' WINDOWS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the landlord of a dwelling unit to install and maintain operable security or locking devices for all windows designed to open.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect tenants whose landlords do not maintain window locks.
