AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALES TAX ON ITEMS SOLD BY NONPROFIT ENTITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (5) of section 12-412 of the general statutes, exempting nonprofit entities from the sales tax, be repealed.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase state revenues by applying the sales tax more broadly.
