AN ACT CONCERNING MAIL-IN VOTER REGISTRATION FOR MINOR PARTIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-23h of the general statutes be amended to require that mail-in applications for admission as an elector printed on or after January 1, 2016, list as options for the applicant's party affiliation any political party or organization that has qualified as a minor party, as defined in section 9-372 of the general statutes, for any state-wide office.
Statement of Purpose:
To include qualified minor parties for state-wide office on the mail-in voter registration form.
