AN ACT CONCERNING HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMAS FOR VETERANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 10-221a of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to issue high school diplomas to honorably discharged veterans who withdrew from school to enter the armed forces on and after 1963.

Statement of Purpose:

To permit boards of education to award high school diplomas to veterans.
