AN ACT CONCERNING NOTICE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER PROTECTION OF ALCOHOL-RELATED INCIDENTS INVOLVING INDIVIDUALS UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 545 of the general statutes be amended to require a police department to provide notice to the Department of Consumer Protection when an investigation of the serious injury or death of a person under twenty-one years of age reveals that such person was served alcoholic liquor by a person or employee of a person who holds a permit authorizing the sale of alcoholic liquor to the public.
