AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DONATION BOX REGISTRY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a mandatory registry for all donation boxes and bins placed on public and private property by third parties, that the owners of such boxes and bins be required to register with the city or town in which the box or bin is proposed to be located, that the owner not place such box or bin on any property until written permission has been secured from the property owner and that the owner maintain such box or bin in a reasonably good condition.
