AN ACT RESTORING THE DEATH PENALTY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 952 of the general statutes be amended to restore the crime of capital felony, punishable by death, for any person convicted under the provisions of section 53a-54b of the general statutes for a murder committed on or after the effective date.

Statement of Purpose:

To restore the death penalty in Connecticut.
