AN ACT CONCERNING THE SERVICE OF CAPIAS MITTIMUS ORDERS IN CHILD SUPPORT CASES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to permit a state police officer or municipal police officer to serve a capias mittimus that has been ordered by the court in a child support matter.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase the collection of past due child by permitting a state police officer or municipal police officer to serve a capias mittimus that has been ordered by the court in a child support matter.
