AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MODEL CURRICULUM REGARDING FISCAL LITERACY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to develop a model curriculum regarding fiscal literacy for use in public high schools and to amend section 10-16b of the general statutes to require such fiscal literacy curriculum to be part of the prescribed courses of study for high school students.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase fiscal literacy among high school students by developing a model curriculum regarding fiscal literacy for use in public high schools.
