AN ACT CONCERNING FINES REMITTED TO MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (d) of section 51-56a of the general statutes be amended to change the amount of revenue that municipalities receive with respect to the violations set forth in said subsection so that the revenue received is equivalent to twenty-five per cent of the ticket's original face-value amount.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the amount of certain fines that are remitted to municipalities where the violation occurred.
