AN ACT CONCERNING APPRENTICE TO JOURNEYMAN RATIOS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to enable a licensed contractor pursuant to chapter 393 of the general statutes to employ one and train up to four apprentices registered with the state of Connecticut.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase the training and employment opportunities for apprentices by allowing contractors to employ one apprentice for every licensed contractor or journeyman that the contractor employs.
