AN ACT EXPANDING THE PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR VETERANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subdivision (19) of section 12-81 of the general statutes be amended to allow all veterans, regardless of the amount of time served in the military, to participate in the property tax exemption program outlined in said subdivision.

Statement of Purpose:

To expand eligibility for the veterans' property tax exemption to all veterans.
