AN ACT CONCERNING THE SITING OF CERTAIN COMMERCIAL WIND PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Connecticut Siting Council to adopt regulations concerning the siting of wind projects of one megawatt or more and prevent any such projects from being approved before such regulations are adopted.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Connecticut Siting Council to adopt regulations concerning the siting of certain wind projects that consider the public's health and safety.
