AN ACT EXPANDING THE TAX CREDIT FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING IN MANUFACTURING, CONSTRUCTION AND PLASTICS-RELATED TRADES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-217g of the general statutes be amended to expand the tax credit for apprenticeship training in manufacturing, construction and plastics-related trades to cover biotechnology and computer coding and technology.
Statement of Purpose:
To develop a qualified workforce in the technology and biotechnology industries by enticing more companies to locate in Connecticut and provide a highly skilled workforce for existing Connecticut companies.
