AN ACT CONCERNING LIMITATIONS ON BINDING ARBITRATION AWARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit binding arbitration awards for increased wages pursuant to collective bargaining negotiations from exceeding the level increase reflected in the prevailing Consumer Price Index.
Statement of Purpose:
To amend the collective bargaining statutes to limit binding arbitration awards to no more than the Consumer Price Index.
