AN ACT CONCERNING RETROACTIVE PAYMENTS FOR SOCIAL SECURITY OFFSETS UNDER THE WORKERS' COMPENSATION ACT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 31-307 of the general statutes be amended to award additional payments for Social Security offsets under the Workers' Compensation Act for individuals receiving such benefits between 1993 and 2006.

Statement of Purpose:

To retroactively award an increase in workers' compensation payments to individuals whose payments were offset as a result of receiving Social Security between 1993 and 2006.
