AN ACT INCREASING THE TAX RELIEF PROVIDED BY THE CIRCUIT BREAKER PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-170aa of the general statutes be amended to make the property tax reduction for elderly homeowners under the circuit breaker program more generous by increasing it by ten per cent.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide property tax relief for elderly homeowners in the circuit breaker program.
