AN ACT CONCERNING ENTERPRISE ZONES IN MUNICIPALITIES IN WHICH A POSTAL SERVICE PROCESSING AND DISTRIBUTION CENTER HAS CLOSED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 32-70 of the general statutes, concerning designation of enterprise zones by the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, be amended to allow enterprise zones in municipalities in which postal service processing and distribution centers have closed.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for the designation of enterprise zones in municipalities that have lost postal service processing and distribution centers.
