AN ACT ELIMINATING PERSONAL INCOME TAXATION ON PENSION INCOME.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the personal income tax on pension income.

Statement of Purpose:

To repeal personal income taxation on pension income in order to provide tax relief to senior citizens and make this state more competitive with other states.
