AN ACT CONCERNING A CONTRIBUTION OF INCOME TAX REFUNDS TO THE SAVE CONNECTICUT'S PETS ACCOUNT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-743 of the general statutes be amended to allow taxpayers to contribute their income tax refund to an account established for the purpose of providing for spaying and neutering pets.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase the rate of pets spayed and neutered in Connecticut by establishing a save Connecticut's pets account to which taxpayers may donate their income tax refund.
