AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEFINITION OF "TEMPORARY HELP SERVICE".
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-129 of the general statutes be amended to redefine the term "temporary help service" to mean a person in the business of employing individuals directly for the purpose of furnishing part-time or temporary help to others for a defined period of time with a defined end date.
Statement of Purpose:
To help narrow the broad definition of the term "temporary help service" as it is used in the general statutes.
