AN ACT CONCERNING HOT WATER RECIRCULATING PUMPS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to expand the list of energy efficient appliances that qualify for sales tax exemptions to include instant hot water recirculating pumps.

Statement of Purpose:

To reduce the costs of building, maintaining and operating municipal water pollution control facilities by reducing the amount of water flowing through such systems.
