AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR SHORE LINE EAST.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to fully fund Shore Line East in the current biennial budget before funding is provided for the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield rail line.

Statement of Purpose:

To ensure full funding of an existing commuter rail service before funding the creation of a new commuter rail service.
