AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTATE TAX.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 217 of the general statutes be amended to exempt the first $5.75 million from the estate tax to reflect the federal exemption.

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage Connecticut residents to continue to thrive in Connecticut by exempting the first $5.75 million from the estate tax to reflect the federal exemption.
