AN ACT ELIMINATING REGIONAL ELECTION MONITORS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 8-31b, 9-229 and 9-229b of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the position of regional election monitor in each planning region.

Statement of Purpose:

To eliminate a state mandate with regard to election administration.
