AN ACT IMPROVING THE STATE'S TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE BY REDIRECTING BOND AUTHORIZATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to redirect remaining bond authorizations for the New Britain-Hartford busway to the Department of Transportation for improving the state's deficient roads and bridges.

Statement of Purpose:

To maximize the use of taxpayer dollars by using busway funds to fix the state's deteriorating transportation infrastructure.
