AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE IMPACT STATEMENTS AND EMPLOYMENT IN THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 16 of the general statutes be amended to require every bill, resolution or amendment affecting employment to be accompanied by a job impact statement that estimates the effect of the proposal on employment in the state.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a job impact statement on all legislation that has an effect on employment.
